Default Wearing Your Dress Shirt

One could say that over the past 50 years the office still demands a conservative dress style. We have a few tips to ensure your dress shirt is worn with utmost care.
  • Keep your dress shirt neatly tucked in. The best way to do so without protruding the edges too much is to fold the sides in of the back tail and pull the trousers over. Then neatly tuck the front in.
  • Make sure your collar is not popped out. A good neck tie goes a long way, a bow tie if your are attending a more dressy event.
  • You should keep your cuffs and the dress shirt placket buttoned up.
  • Try to refrain from rolling your sleeves up.
  • We recommend in warmer environments wearing a light cotton dress shirt. They provide that "breathing room" needed.

The main focal point of the dress should start under the mens face the collar. Most dress shirts run their collar size by half inches such as 14, 14.5, 15, and so on.Measuring the right collar size should be based on the neck dimension just below the Adams apple. If the neck circumference is about half inch, then it would be a good idea to get the higher end to prevent too tight collars when the fabric shrinks. Most men buy dress shirts with too wide collars. Collars ought to be snug around the neck. Snug means that it should not squeeze or give you a choking feeling especially when you bend your head down to touch your chin to your chest. There should be just enough room for your head to move around the neck.
Other way to find out the tightness of a collar is by slipping two fingers between the buttoned collar and the neck. The two fingers should fit comfortably, and this additional space gives room for possible shrinkage after a few washing of the dress shirt. So the collar fit should not be a perfect fit when immediately tried on and neither should it have more room than the two fingers you slid in. Otherwise the fit in the collar would be inappropriate.

Have a nice day

Hello
With so many choices, you may not be sure which color of men's dress shirt is right for you. Before you start buying every color of dress shirt available, think about a few things:
Striped dress shirt

How do others dress at your office? Take a cue from others around you to see what would be appropriate. If everyone is wearing a white or blue dress shirt, then you may not be taken seriously in a brightly-colored striped shirt.

Is there an office dress code? Often, only law offices and financial institutions have official policies about the color of your dress shirts, but there may be an unspoken policy. When you're noticing what others are wearing, you'll want to also notice if there are any unofficial attitudes about what is expected.

What will you do today? A day spent meeting with clients requires a different outfit than one where you are by yourself in your office. If you have a variety of dress shirts in your closet, make sure you have shirts that are appropriate for what your schedule holds.

What do you do at your job? While lawyers, bankers and politicians are expected to project a serious image, a graphic designer or a publisher is expected to be more creative. A lawyer in a print shirt may not be taken seriously, and likewise, not much creativity may be expected from a creative director in a solid blue dress shirt.

What makes you feel confident? Once you have found what is expected in your office, choose dress shirts that you'll feel good wearing. Even if everyone in the office is wearing a wild striped shirt, you can still wear a white shirt if that's what helps you feel self-assures.

Hi

A lot of dress shirts (plain and stripes to be specific) can be pulled off as casual just by leaving the first one/two buttons unbuttoned. That's really all there is to it. However, be careful. Not alldress shirts can be worn casually. I know some of my dress shirts have a curve at the bottom or a tag hanging out, and they are specifically meant to be worn tucked in. I would start wearing Jeans if I were you. You can pull off a lot of upper body stuff with a pair of nice jeans and nice

Thanks
